Livebinders has been one of my favorite resources all semester. With an electronic binder, students and teachers can save all their important work. They can use it to showcase compilations of web resources that they find useful. They can also display their own work in an organized binder.

My online blog serves as a main communication line between my audience and me. Currently, it is mainly used to display assignments for ED271, but in the future, I plan on using it to journal and document new endeavors. Blogs can also be a fun way to incorporate student interaction by encouraging online discussions.

​ Anymeeting is an online resource that allows students to collaborate completely free. It features support for up to 200 participants. Students are able to organize polls, share applications, and set up conferences. This website makes it easy for students  to work cooperatively on an assignment.

Our phishing and pharming assignment gave me more insight into the necessity of online safety. Through this assignment, I was able to look back on my own online activity and make changes to secure my personal information. Students should also be aware of the dangers online and how to make adjustments to make it a safer experience for them.

Education games allow teachers to make learning fun for students. Bright colors, appropriate audio and entertaining interaction can all increase student interest in learning. Many education games serve just this purpose. One of my favorite sites is pbskids.org.
